The Wisconsin Association of International Educators, WAIE team invites you to participate in the WAIE conference which will be held at the Continuing Education Center, University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee on Monday and Tuesday, April 7 and 8, 2008. As Illinois NAFSA will be holding workshops this year in lieu of a conference many people in Illinois have expressed interest in coming to Milwaukee. We would not only welcome your attendance but also your participation. There are four ways in which you can contribute to the State Conference:

1. Submit a proposal for a session that you would like to present. Sessions will be held on Tuesday.

2. Volunteer to chair a session (This is easy! You need to have interest in the topic, introduce the presenter(s), open up for discussion near the end, and collect the evaluation forms).

3. Request a specific topic to be discussed in a conference session. Provide description of the topic/session (perhaps recommend a presenter) on the enclosed planning form.

4. Conference registration information will be sent via e-mail at a later date! ...and if you can, bring interested U.S. or international students with you! Conference participation is an important step for future professionals in our field.

Also included in this e-mail is a PDF for a "Presentation Planning" form which can be used for any of the options listed above.
