IL NAFSA is now International Educators of Illinois (IEI)
Greetings!
Based on a unanimous vote at the State meeting in Kalamazoo, we are pleased to announce that IL NAFSA has changed its name to International Educators of Illinois (IEI). We will still be sending out emails through the IL NAFSA listserve, but everything else will reflect the International Educators of Illinois name.
Additionally, we would like to inform you that IEI will be presenting two workshops in late April, on the topic "Research in International Education". The following is a description of the event:
"This workshop will explore research on a wide range of international education issues to help practitioners, administrators and students interested in learning how to collect data that will help improve international programs on campus and to impact institutional, state or federal policy. Additionally, this workshop will explore outcomes of overseas learning and the variety of tools available for this type of assessment. Finally, this workshop will discuss publishing and disseminating research results."
Please see the attached document with additional details about the workshop. Pre-registration is required, and is due on April 11th.
